PT Petro Oxo Nusantara has held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its Neo Pentyl Glycol (NPG) plant with a capacity of 30,000 Tons Per Annum (TPA). The company will produce a new diversified product, Neo Pentyl Glycol, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons. The ceremony symbolizing the start of the project began with the laying of the first stone, followed by the simultaneous pressing of sirens by the distinguished guests, and was attended by stakeholders.

In his speech, the President Director of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, Jaya Martapa, explained that the Neo Pentyl Glycol (NPG) project involves the production of an organic chemical compound derived through the aldol condensation process of formaldehyde and isobutyraldehyde. With a total investment of 856 billion Rupiah, the NPG plant will be built on an area of approximately 2 hectares. Equipped with environmentally friendly technology, it will set a new standard in the production of high-quality petrochemical products. Furthermore, 80% of the NPG's total production will be exported to global markets, with the primary target markets being China, India, and Southeast Asia.

The Neo Pentyl Glycol (NPG) plant owned by PT Petro Oxo Nusantara will be the first of its kind in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. This achievement marks an important milestone in the company's efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesia's petrochemical industry on the global stage. With its eco-friendly technology, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara is setting new standards in the production of high-quality petrochemical products.
