As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and community empowerment, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PT PON) carried out the handover and installation of 50 biopore infiltration holes at several locations within the densely populated residential area of RW 2, Tlogopojok Village, Gresik District, through the Tlogopojok Water Infiltration Movement (GERAK POJOK) Program.

This initiative was implemented in collaboration with the local community, which sought practical solutions to help reduce water pooling while improving the soil's natural water absorption capacity. In line with the Company's vision and mission in implementing its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) programs, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara remains committed to delivering initiatives that create tangible benefits for both the community and the surrounding environment.

In addition to serving as a simple and environmentally friendly solution, biopore infiltration holes help improve soil quality and can also be utilized to process organic waste into compost. As a result, the program provides not only immediate environmental benefits but also contributes to long-term environmental sustainability.

Through the GERAK POJOK Program, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara hopes to further strengthen its partnership with the surrounding community while fostering a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment. The Company believes that strong collaboration between businesses and local communities is essential to achieving sustainable development that delivers lasting benefits for both the environment and future generations.
