PT Petro Oxo Nusantara has once again received the PROPER (Company Performance Rating Program) Green rating based on The Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1581 of 2026, regarding the Results of the Company Performance Rating Assessment in Environmental Management for the 2024–2025 period. This marks the company’s third achievement of the Green rating.

The achievement of the PROPER Green rating is supported by various environmental management initiatives implemented by PON throughout 2024–2025. These include energy efficiency achievements of 27,030.63 gigajoules through programs such as pump capacity optimization by increasing motor power at P-921 A/B, as well as other energy efficiency initiatives.

In addition, PON successfully reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 50,224.49 tons of CO₂ equivalent, including through the utilization of flue gas into liquid CO₂ products using a liquefaction method.

In terms of waste management, PON utilized 3.70 tons of waste internally and 0.39 tons through community empowerment programs managed in collaboration with MASBERLING (Masyarakat Berdaya Peduli Lingkungan), a community group fostered by PON in partnership with the Indonesian Waste Bank Association (ASOBSI).

The management of PT Petro Oxo Nusantara stated that this PROPER Green award is expected to further encourage the company to maintain and enhance its commitment to sustainable environmental management, while continuing to deliver positive contributions to the industry and society.
