MASBERLING, a community empowerment program fostered by PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, organized an educational activity on organic and inorganic waste management at MINU Lumpur, Gresik. In this activity, students were introduced to the types of waste and how to process both organic and inorganic materials. They also had the opportunity to directly practice turning waste into creative and functional wall decorations.

The event became even more lively with a “Most Creative Craft” competition, where winners received prizes as a form of appreciation for their ideas and craftsmanship.

As part of its ongoing support, PT Petro Oxo Nusantara also distributed educational books on waste management to the students. These books will also be shared with other schools visited in future MASBERLING programs.

This initiative is expected to help reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills by encouraging waste transformation into more useful items. It also aims to inspire young people to be more creative in repurposing waste into meaningful and valuable works.
