On Thursday (May 22), Masyarakat Berdaya Peduli Lingkungan (MASBERLING), community group fostered by PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PT PON), participated in an inspiring training session on organic and inorganic waste management held in the Wehasta area, Trawas, Mojokerto.

The full-day program focused on learning how to manage, sort, and repurpose both organic and inorganic waste into useful and economically valuable products.

Participants were trained in processing organic waste by turning household scraps into animal feed, such as for catfish, chickens, and ducks. This eco-friendly solution also helps reduce feed costs for small-scale farmers.

For inorganic waste, participants learned how to recycle domestic waste into products such as handmade recycled paper, eco-printed fabrics, and unique crafts with commercial value. This initiative not only aims to reduce the volume of waste but also opens up opportunities for the development of the local creative economy.

This training is part of PT PON’s commitment to supporting community empowerment and environmental conservation. Through collaboration with MASBERLING, the program aspires to encourage sustainable and independent waste management practices within the community.
