PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PT PON) provided a training for its foster partners, small and micro business (UMKM) on the use of Digital Marketing & E-commerce. This activity was attended by 11 participants and their business companion. This training was opened by Chairperson of UMKM Bersatu Gresik Mrs. Dewi Julianti Suryaputra and Mr. Faizal Alfa, who has 15 years of experience in marketing.
In this training activity Participants were given an explanation about promotions, the benefits, and sales tips through the digital marketing and the preparation for digital era. Foster partner who never sold their product in digital market such as E-Commerce will likely encounter new obstacles that are not faced in traditional markets. And need to change marketing strategy to expand in digital world. In this training, foster partner was also given material regarding market research, where the foster partners can carry out market research in terms of prices and market demand. They are also taught how to create video content for product promotions, posting on social media, and etc. The training closed with a focus group discussion (FGD) session.
We hope that with the training on the use of Digital Marketing & E-commerce, the UMKM PON’s foster parters can enhance competitiveness and expand opportunities to introduce their businesses. Enabling them to innovate and compete continuously alongside technological advancements.
