On Wednesday (September 25), PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PT PON) hosted an industrial visit for D4 Occupational Safety and Health Engineering students from Surabaya State Shipping Polytechnic (PPNS) to learn about implementing workplace conditions and applying occupational health and safety knowledge in the chemical industry.

The visit began with a safety induction led by Mr. Bambang Prayitno, QCA SHE Manager. During the visit, students were briefed on PT PON, including the company's history, activities, and safety and health practices, emphasizing the company's commitment to OHS, presented by Mr. Eddy Murtono, SHE Superintendent at PT PON.

Students also had the opportunity to take a plant tour and observe safety practices in action.

It is hoped that this industrial visit will enrich students' knowledge and prepare the younger generation to become professionals who prioritize workplace safety and health.
