PT Petro Oxo Nusantara, in collaboration with MASBERLING Cadre, conducted educational activities on organic waste management and distributed compost bins on August 15, 2024, in Tlogopojok Village and on August 21, 2024, in Lumpur Village.

During the events, residents were given a education about the types of waste that can be managed, including plastics and paper, and were also taught the correct methods for managing organic waste to convert it into compost without causing odors or disease.

The goal of this education is to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and repurpose organic materials to enhance soil fertility, which can help mitigate odors and disease risks associated with decomposing organic waste.

With the provision of education and composting facilities, it is hoped that residents will become more proactive in managing household waste and enhance their skills in environmentally friendly waste management, ultimately leading to a cleaner and greener environment.
